20-Gram: The Boundary of Feel Nothing

In the pursuit of creating a truly ergonomic ring scanner, Heart Yang, the innovator behind the HYCO ring scanner, did not begin by defining the product's weight based on technological limitations. Instead, he conducted extensive research by visiting major jewelry stores and crafting several weight-adjusted, non-functional rings. Our engineers wore them for extended periods, and found that 20 grams is the highest weight limit where you can FEEL LIKE YOU’RE WEARING NOTHING!

Love Your Neighbour as Yourself

After establishing the 'feel nothing' boundary with the 20-gram weight limit, nobody believed that this could become a reality. However, our engineers embarked on field research, immersing themselves in various potential user work scenarios. With a focus on ergonomic principles, particularly emphasizing finger characteristics, comfort, and seamless integration into regular work processes, they meticulously designed the product.

Overcoming numerous technical challenges to meet the weight limit and ensure continuous, long-lasting performance for industrial use, our engineers spent 4 years on fundamental material and theoretical innovations to create the our first demo version. Subsequently, it took over 6 years to achieve product refinement and mass production, resulting in the 20-gram Ring Scanner we have today!
