2. First-Time Setup: Charging Your Scanner
Initial Charging (Important!)
- Connect the cradle to a power source using the USB cable
- Insert the ring scanner into the cradle with the scan window facing up
- Ensure the scanner's charging contacts align with the cradle's contacts
- First charge: Allow 2.5 hours for full charge before first use
LED Charging Indicators
- 🔴 Solid Red = Charging in progress
- 🟢 Solid Green = Fully charged and ready for use
Safety Warning: Do NOT look directly into the scan window, laser exposure may cause eye damage!
3. Wearing & Basic Operation
Proper Fitting
- Wear device on your index finger (either hand works)
- Select the correct ring strap size from the 5 included options
- Scanner should feel secure but not tight
How to Scan
- Press either side of the scanner with your thumb or third figure to trigger a scan
- Hold steady until you hear the beep confirmation
- Vibration feedback confirms successful scan
4. Pairing Your Scanner
- Common Mode (Default - for PC/Windows)

- iOS Mode (Apple devices)

- Android Mode (Android phones/tablets)

- Windows Mobile Mode (Windows Mobile devices)

Method A: Pairing with PC (via Cradle)
- Plug the cradle into your PC's USB port
- Wait 15 seconds until the cradle's green light activates
- Scan the "Bluetooth Connection" barcode (printed on the cradle)
- Blue light = Successful pairing complete

Note: The cradle serves as the Bluetooth central device, while the ring scanner functions as the peripheral device.
Method B: Direct Pairing with Phone/Tablet
- Enable bluetooth in your device settings
- Search for devices and select your scanner's bluetooth name (default: serial number)
- Green light = Successfully connected
LED Pairing Status

- 🔵 Solid Blue = Bluetooth connected
- 🟢
Solid Green = Connected and ready to scan
